Continuing Professional Development for Examinations Officers and Administrators

The qualifications are available at three levels (2, 3 and 4) and as such can provide the most appropriate level to suit your personal circumstances and aspirations. Click on the link below for further details on the level you may be interested in.

The support offered includes a one-day workshop with tutor support for the Level 2 qualification, and ‘tutored’ packages with initial ‘kick-start’ workshops plus tutor support from an experienced and qualified examinations officer for the Level 3 and level 4 qualifications.

It is also intended to offer successful graduates of the Level 4 programme an opportunity to work as trainers and assessors for CITE and KC Education, and to take the Level 3 NVQ ‘assessor’ and ‘verifier’ awards, again as part of our commitment to the continuing professional development of examinations officers and those working with external examinations.

Several centres have already successfully obtained external funding for the qualification via their LEA and/or their local LSC, an avenue which you may wish to pursue.
